What can I have engraved?
Initials, a name, a date or a short message, or go more personal and bring in a hand drawn design, an image, or someone's actual handwriting, a note, a signature, even a little doodle, and we'll engrave that too.
Can you engrave something I already own?
Engraving's available on Hey Tilly pieces only, so it needs to be something you've bought from us.
How long does it take?
If you've booked an appointment, we'll engrave it on the spot while you wait. Walk in instead and there might be a slight delay, but we'll always try to get you sorted the same visit.
Can I get engraving on an online order?
Yes, you can add engraving when you order online too.
How much does engraving cost?

Is there a limit on how much text I can add?
Space depends on the piece itself, our team can help you figure out what fits.
Why are engraved items final sale?
Once something's personalised it's made just for you, so we're not able to accept returns or exchanges on engraved pieces.
Will it tarnish?
Both our sterling silver and gold filled chains are tarnish resistant, but they'll last longer and stay shinier if you keep them away from chlorine, perfume, lotion and harsh chemicals.
How do I look after it?
Clean it every so often with a bit of dish soap, water and a soft toothbrush, and try to rinse it off after swimming or anything with a lot of chemical exposure. It's durable day to day but still delicate jewellery, so treat it kindly.
