FAQ
What is permanent jewellery
Permanent jewellery is as simple as it sounds - it's a dainty gold, rose gold or silver chain that is directly welded on as a bracelet, anklet, ring, or necklace. Because they don't have a clasp, they can't be taken off like regular jewellery. You will have a custom-fit, bespoke piece of jewellery made just for you.
How does it work?
Once you choose your chain from our collection and decide where you would like to place it (bracelet, anklet, ring, or necklace) we will size the chain to custom fit and apply a temporary clasp to test out the sizing. Your chain is then sealed with a quick zap from our welder.
How long does it take?
We allow 20 minutes for each appointment, this gives you time to select the chain you would like from our collection, and time to find the right sizing. The welding processes itself takes less than a minute.
How long does permanent jewellery last?
Your permanent jewellery will last months to years depending on your lifestyle. We recommend you clean your jewellery after swimming or using lotion and harsh chemicals. The material we use has been tried and tested for its durability but it is still a dainty chain and therefore needs to be treated carefully.
Will it hurt?
Nope, there is no contact with the skin! Just a teeny-tiny spark from our high-quality welder directly on the chain.
What if I have to remove my permanent jewellery?
If at any point you have to remove your jewellery (MRI, surgery, sport), it can be removed with scissors or clippers at the spot we welded the chain together. We can re-weld the chain when you are ready. Just don't forget to keep the chain.
Can I go through airport security?
Yes, your new jewellery is delicate enough that it will not set off the metal detectors at the airport.
Do you do private parties or pop-ups?
Yes we do! Head to our contact us page and complete the form with as much detail as you can and we will get back to you as soon as possible.
